Podcast

powermomma  podcast

PowerMomma Podcast is a space for women navigating motherhood, work, and who they’re becoming next. Honest, funny, slightly chaotic conversations about the messy middle of modern motherhood, reinvention, and identity.

This season, Sam features Kitchen Table Revolution guests—women sharing how they built clarity, confidence, and their own seat at the table... or a whole new table.

And of course, still "taking it to the hill."

Kitchen Table

kitchen table revolution

Kitchen Table Revolution is where women come when they’re done waiting for permission to change their lives. Built for women who do their best thinking at the kitchen table, it turns lived experience into clarity, confidence, and a real plan for what’s next.

stories. (aka the work)

Welcome to Storytime LA, our passion is adding something bigger to your story. This is where creativity meets strategy, motherhood meets ambition, and everyday lived experience becomes the engine behind your next chapter. Everything you’ll find here comes from one belief: the stories you live become the stories you lead with. Whether you’re here to grow a business, find clarity in your purpose, get support as a parent, or finally listen to something real for a few moments of down time… you’ve landed in the right place.

Wonderkidz is a community built by parents, for parents.

Born from our own journey raising twin daughters with Autism.

Wonderkidz exists to make sure families don’t have to navigate this path alone. When Harper and Emerson were diagnosed at age three, we quickly learned that the most powerful guidance didn’t come only from manuals or appointments. It came from other parents who truly understood.

Wonderkidz is our way of paying that forward.

We’re creating a supportive hub for families, especially in Los Angeles, offering practical resources, trusted referrals, and real-life insight across services, education, therapy, and daily life.

Because every child is a wonder.
And every parent deserves support.

What is the story?

A lifelong question behind every brand, every family, and every meaningful connection.

Sam.jpg

Samantha Hoey Nelson is a storyteller, a strategist, and a mom who learned that life rarely follows the plan.

She built her career creating work for global brands like Disney, Target, Walmart, Mattel, John Deere, and Unilever, leading creative teams and shaping campaigns across brand, social, digital, and experiential. With an MBA from USC and years inside both Fortune 100 companies and startups, she learned how to blend creativity with business and turn ideas into action.

Then motherhood changed everything in ways no career ever had.

When her twin daughters were diagnosed with Autism at age three, Sam’s world shifted from boardrooms and pitch decks to IEP meetings, therapy schedules, and learning an entirely new language of advocacy. The same skills she had used to build brands became the tools she used to build a better life for her family.

Today, based in Los Angeles, Sam runs Storytime and created Wonderkidz to support other parents walking a similar path. She works with women, founders, and mission-driven organizations to clarify their voice, tell honest stories, and design lives and businesses that actually fit the people living them.

She believes the most powerful work happens around kitchen tables.
Where strategy meets reality.
And where community changes everything.
